With summertime just around the corner, I’m so excited to see the brighter, more playful colors both in nature and fashion. Yellow is the quintessential summer color, and so in honor of the season, here are a few ways to work yellow into your home décor:
Bright Yellow: Sunny, happy, and bold, bright yellow walls are not for the faint of heart. But how can you not be happy in a room so cheery?
Marigold: This slightly orange hue is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a strong, saturated color without the brightness of a true yellow. Mix it with oranges and pale yellows like the bedroom below, or let it pop next to stark white.

I love the metallic golds mixed with the golden yellow paint.
Pale Yellow: This classic shade feels simultaneously airy and warm; elegant but un-stuffy; peaceful and joyful.

Outdoors: I love yellow patio décor – bright or pastel. It stands out against the green and reflects the warmth of the sun.

Pops of Yellow: In an all-white or neutral room, a few pops of yellow are all you need to evoke a happy vibe. You can change them out for different colors in the cooler months.
